Ian Cunningham,

President at Council of Ontario Construction Associations
“Paul’s extremely engaging presentation style makes it obvious that alcohol and substance abuse, addiction and mental illness touch the lives of millions of Canadians either directly or indirectly. He shared information of how these issues impact brain health, physical health and its impacts on the workplace and society as a whole as well as sharing how organizations can take steps to address the workplace culture and help address these issues. I’m glad to recommend Paul as a speaker and the work he does.”

Keri Miller,

Vice President, Member Services at Progressive Contractors Association of Canada
“Paul and his team are incredibly knowledgeable subject matter experts and are delightful to work with. We recently hosted a Lunch n Learn event on the topic of Mental Health in the Workplace with Paul as the guest speaker. This event drew the attention of the Minister of Labour, the Honourable Kevin Flynn, who provided the event with a letter of welcome and endorsement. The presentation created a rich, thought provoking discussion afterward. We received very positive feedback from our contractor members who attended this event and we look forward to connecting Paul and his team to our members further in the near future.”

Ingrid Taheri,

Artistic & Executive Director at High Notes Avante
“It was a great pleasure to engage Paul Radkowski as the keynote presenter and performer for our first HIGH NOTES AVANTE SOCIAL on Sept 14, 2017. With his extensive knowledge about both music and mental health, he was the perfect choice for this event. The audience appreciated both his humour and that he shared some of his personal struggles–proving that there is hope for the future no matter how dark the present may look. We look forward to working with Paul again and would highly recommend him.”

Terence Rothwell, P. Eng.

President
Canadian Farm Builders Association

“While we were a bit apprehensive about the choice of mental health as the topic for our Dinner Guest Speaker at our Annual Conference – we (an Association within the Construction sector) were absolutely pleased with Paul’s presentation and how he sensitively and positively approached the topic and even added just the right level of thoughtful, tasteful humor to this very difficult workplace subject. There were no uncomfortable moments.

Our group was engaged and participatory when Paul asked for comments and everyone left feeling the optimistic energy that Paul shares with and delivers to his audience. Paul’s talk was “down-to-earth” – which is essential when you’re presenting to a group of practical, pragmatic builders.  Of equal importance: We learned a great deal about mental health in our industry – especially about some of the myths regarding how to interact with/help those around us who may be facing critical mental health challenges.  And we learned that each of us can help the other start the journey to a better, safer state of mind and being.  This was assisted by the tried and tested tools that Paul shared with us (such as “Don’t be afraid to ask”) that can be used by anyone to encourage positive change in ourselves and those with whom we work, play and/or live.

We thank you Paul for delivering an excellent presentation that was both beneficial and enjoyable for our group!”
